Today, XD Games revealed the next Torchlight: Infinite season, SS11 Vorax. The new season was detailed in a stream earlier today, which showed off new gameplay adjustments and improved visuals coming to the free-to-play ARPG. During the season, when players defeat monsters that have been infected with Vorax Syndrome, they’ll earn the seasonal currency known as Vorax Substance. This can be used to manage Incubation Tanks via Surgical Preparation. These tanks change monster quantity, rarity, and activity, and will have an impact on loot.

If that’s not challenging enough, players will also have access to Scalpels, which can be used to increase encounter difficulty and the related rewards without having to consume Compass slots. This is achieved by adding more elites and scavengers.

In addition to the various new features and mechanics adjustments, the update also introduces visual upgrades intended to improve the player experience.
